Cross over a few kilometers into Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and get mesmerized by the rugged terrain, thick and mist-covered forests. Get extra doses of excitement by tracking these wild giants again and take great note of comparisons and similarities for they are never the same.
Walk at leisure in the communities close to the park that have lived with the Mountain gorillas all their lifetime. Share their experiences, listen to their music and moving stories, dance to their tunes.

Day 1: Travel to Kibale Forest national park
after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale forest national park known as the chimpanzee capital of Africa. The winding roads lead us through diverse landscapes, offering glimpses of local life and wildlife. You will have a lunch stopover before continuing to your lodge. Upon arrival, settle into the charming Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse for a relaxing evening surrounded by nature. You will also have dinner and overnight here

DAY 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest
The day begins with the excitement of chimpanzee trekking in the lush forests of Kibale. Follow experienced guides as they lead you through the dense vegetation in search of these fascinating creatures. Witness their playful antics and social interactions up close, creating memories that will last a lifetime. After a morning of adventure, enjoy a leisurely lunch before exploring the enchanting Bigodi Wetland on a nature walk.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast you will venture towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, a biodiversity hotspot teeming with wildlife. The journey offers panoramic views of the savanna and rolling hills, setting the stage for an unforgettable safari experience. As we arrive at Bush Lodge, prepare for an evening of relaxation amidst the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Day 4: Game drive and launch cruise
after breakfast, you will go for an early game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park. On this trip, you will view different animals like the buffaloes and elephants, giraffes if lucky enough the leopards and lions as they roam freely in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch before going for an evening launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel for a unique perspective on the park’s diverse ecosystem. The tranquil waters offer opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species and later return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
After your breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi home to the majestic mountain gorillas. This journey is interesting as you get to have a scenic view of the highlands and verdant landscapes as we make our way to Gorilla Valley Lodge After checking in n Immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to the Batwa community, gaining insights into their traditional way of life before going back to the accommodation and overnight

DAY 6 Ultimate gorilla tracking experience
you will have an early breakfast to give you the energy for gorilla tracking in the forest. You will make your way to the park headquarters with your guide and a packed lunch in hand around 7:30am for a briefing on what to expect during your journey. The guide will then take you through the bush, passing through thick creepers, to track the gorillas. This trek can take anywhere from half an hour to five hours. A base fitness level and sturdy pair of walking shoes are required here. When you finally locate the gorilla family that you are tracking, you will be allowed to spend one hour observing their lifestyle and behavior. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rain forest knowing you are in the presence of some of the few remaining mountain gorillas in the world. More than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population is found here. After the trek, you will travel to Lake Bunyonyi for Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala/ Entebbe for your evening flight home or to this will be the end of our safari.
